This rather peculiar balcony protrudes from the left-hand side of the house in yesterday's photo; the phrase "more money than sense" springs to mind...

I was expecting to see a lady from middle ages sitting or standing on that balcony, watching the traffic.

Not at all. I picture a red headed Pre -Raphaelite beauty coming her hair while waiting for her lover to ascend to the balcony.
